The Pass Plus scheme is designed to make you a better driver and so help you avoid being part of a gruesome statistic . It involves more lessons in the form of six specially designed driver training modules which cover driving in town, out of town, in all weathers, at night, on dual carriageways and on motorways.
And there is no test to take at the end of it.

Motorway Tuition

Whether we like it or not, most of us at some point in our lives will find ourselves using motorways on a regular basis. Motorways are an entirely different enviroment from where we learn to drive, so at first motorway driving can seem quite daunting, and to some even frightening. This is why at Concept Driver Training we strongly recommend that after passing your test you take up some motorway lessons.

To take a motorway course you must already hold a valid full UK driving licence.

There is a set fee of £40 per 2 hour session

All aspects of motorway driving are undertaken.

Ideal for pupils who are nervous of motorway driving or for those who just want to enhance their all round driving skills.

Intensive Tuition ( Quick Pass )

Intensive courses are ideal if you want to pass your test sooner rather than later. These courses need a two week in advance notice due to the amount of time spent on the daily tuition with the pupil. There are four courses to choose from, and these courses vary depending on the standard of the pupil. The districts covered in these courses are Bolton, Bury, Chorley, Walkden Swinton and Leigh. Each daily lesson (Mon - Fri) consists of six hours tuition covering all aspects of normal driving. To take an intensive driving course you must have already passed the theory test. Like all our driving courses, the driving tuition on these particular courses is on a one to one basis.

2 Day Course - 12 Hours

This course is aimed at people who have recently taken their test, or who feel they can reach the standard within this 12 hour course.

4 Day Course - 24 Hours

This course is aimed at pupils who have taken a test a year or so ago or who have driven extensively on the roads and need a few days to brush up on manouveres and technical aspects to pass the test. We would expect the pupil to drive competently and have at least attempted reverse excercises.

5 Day Course - 30 Hours

This course is suitable for pupils who have had a little driving experience. If they feel 30 hours would be enough, but for complete beginners we would recommend the 7 day course.

7 Day Course - 42 Hours

This course is designed for novice pupils of any age who are apprehensive about learning to drive.

If you are one of the unlucky few that fail their pratical driving test, then we will re-book your test for you so that you can return to sit your test as soon as possible. This will include a two hour lesson before the test and use of the car on the test. The only cost on retaking the test will be the re-test fee.

Subject to following conditions :

Courses can be run over most dates provided that they would be finished on a testing day (i.e. Not Sunday's or Bank Holiday's)

Free re-test tuition apply's only to those pupils booking either a 5 or 7 day intensive course

Free re-test tuition apply's provided that you have booked the correct course (i.e. the course that suits your driving ability)
